The five-year MBChB programme trains students at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (a 900-bed teaching hospital at the BioQuarter campus), the Western General Hospital, Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, and numerous community placements. Edinburgh's BioQuarter is the UK's fastest-growing biomedical research campus, co-locating the hospital, university departments, and commercial biotechnology.
